Hailing from Bed Sty, Brooklyn, DJ Fly Ty has been giving party people life for over a decade. His love for beats began with playing drums in the eighth grade, and he progressed to rocking turntables by the time he reached college. “Music is in my blood,” Ty explains. His dedication to energizing the crowd is vital. It’s not uncommon for someone to approach DJ Fly Ty after a fantastic set to thank him for reviving their spirit. He puts his all into spinning good music for the masses. “It’s what I do,” he says. Ty knew he had realized his true calling after opening for Snoop. It was an awe-inspiring experience, regulating the stage, as 50,000 fans obeyed his every command. In fact, call and response is his specialty.
